Techniques of Psychotherapy
Comparing and Bridging Methods
in Sandtray and Play Therapy

This presentation will explore techniques of psychotherapy that are useful with children, adolescent and adult clients. Attention will be placed on sandplay therapy and play therapy as modalities that are beneficial for clients. Emphasis on the theory of these modalities will be discussed especially as they apply to the psychological development and emotional healing of these clients. This presentation will incorporate the use of case material to understand the modalities of play and sandplay therapy. Experiential exercises will also be used to bridge the practical aspects with the theory.
